Description of the procedure

Centerless grinding is a highly precise manufacturing process used to machine cylindrical workpieces to the highest levels of accuracy and surface quality. Unlike other grinding methods, centerless grinding does not require the workpiece to be centered between centers or held in a clamping device. Instead, the workpiece is guided through a grinding wheel and a regulating wheel, where it is supported and machined between the two wheels.

Advantages of centerless grinding:

  • High precision without centering
    Highly efficient material removal
    Versatile application for various materials
